LOANER CARS

Need a Loaner Car While Your Vehicle Is in the Shop?

We’ve got you covered! At Robert Warren’s Automotive, we offer loaner vehicles to make your repair experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. While you're getting your vehicle serviced, you can stay on the move — but there are a few important things to know before you drive off in one of our cars.

What You Need to Know

Insurance Comes First

Before you take a loaner, just know that your insurance is the primary coverage while you're driving our vehicle. That means:

  • You're responsible for any damage that happens while the loaner is in your care.
  • If your insurance has a deductible or doesn’t cover something, you’ll need to handle those costs.
  • We’ll need a copy of your valid driver’s license and insurance before handing over the keys.

Age & License Requirements

Loaner vehicles are only available to customers who:

  • Are 21 years of age or older
  • Have a valid U.S. driver’s license

Returning the Loaner

  • Please return the loaner before 5:45 PM on the day it's due.
  • The car should come back with a full tank of gas — otherwise, we’ll need to charge a refueling fee at twice the local pump price.
  • We ask that you keep the car clean and smoke-free. If it’s returned with smoke odor or extra mess, there may be a cleaning fee starting at $300.
  • If we let you know your service is done or your estimate is ready, you'll have 24 hours to return the car. After that, there’s a $25 daily late fee.

While You're Using the Loaner

We trust you to drive responsibly! Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • You’re responsible for any toll fees, tickets, or traffic violations that happen while the car is in your possession.
  • You can’t use the vehicle for rideshare or delivery services (like Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.).

Any damage, fees, or fines that come up while you have the car can be charged to the credit card on file.

Before You Go

When you pick up your loaner, we’ll note:

  • The car’s make, model, and year
  • Starting mileage
  • And we’ll record mileage again when you return it

We’ll also need:

  • Your driver’s license
  • Proof of insurance
  • A quick signature to confirm you agree to the terms

We’re here to make your experience easy and convenient. If you have any questions about using a loaner vehicle, just ask — our team is happy to help!
